•lyudmilla: she is married to vasily ignatenko,she is young and in te miniseries has blonde curly hair and fair skin.She was unaware of the damage that the radiation could have like many others,she is a strong woman,loyal and we could say she is also a liar since she lied about being pregnant to see her dying husband who was at a hospital in Moscú.
•Vasily: vasily is a young man man who happens to live with lyudmilla in pripyat,Ucrania and he is also one of the many firefighters who atended the fire in chernobyl without knowing the real danger.In the miniseries we can see that he is brave and has a higher pain tolerance than most of us.We can see this in the scenes where he is cobered in blisters and his own rotting skin due to radiation,Vasily unfortunatly dies at the 14th day after the accident due to his injuries.
•Anatoly dyatlov: he is the one who controlls the reactor four in chernobyl,he is rude and manipulating.He was one of the workers who didn't die but was held accountable of the incident for many years until the truth came out.
